Print Recipe
PARMESAN AND MUSHROOM PEPPER MEAT BALLS

1 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey)
1/2 c. parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt
All purpose oil
3 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 c. celery slices
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. green pepper strips
1/2 c. onion slices
1 c. mushroom slices
1/4 c. pimento strips
Hot cooked noodles .

Combine meat, cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and seasonings. Shape into 18 balls. Brown in oil. Drain. Add 1 1/2 cups water, bouillon cubes and celery, cover, simmer 10 minutes. Combine cornstarch with remaining 1-1/2 cups water, stirring constantly until well blended. Gradually add cornstarch mixture to meatballs stirring until mixture boils and thickens. Add remaining vegetables. Cover; simmer 5 minutes, stirring. serve over cooked noodles, 4 to 6 servings
