1 – 1 1/2 c. med. white sauce
1/2 pkg. dried chipped beef, chopped
into small pieces
toast
sauce:
3 tbl. butter
3 tbl. flour
salt to taste
1 1/2 c. milk
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and
salt and blend till smooth. Add milk
slowly, stirring rapidly to prevent
lumping. Bring to a boil, stirring
constantly. Reduce heat and cook 1
minute, stirring constantly. Add chopped
beef and stir. Cook 1 minute more. Then
serve on toast.
