Amish Candied Sweet Potatoes
6 Sweet potatoes
1-1/2 Cups Brown sugar
1-1/2 Cups Water, cold
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Peel the potatoes and cut in slices 1/2 inch thick. Lay in
an iron skillet and add the remaining ingredients. Cover and
bake at 350-F for 40 minutes. Uncover and continue baking
for 30 minutes.
