Microwave Candied Sweet Potatoes 6 medium sweet potatoes 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo 1/3 c. water Cook sweet potatoes; peel and slice. Arrange in a 2 quart microproof casserole. Combine sugar, butter and water in a 4 cup glass measure. Cook uncovered on 70 (roast) 3 or 4 minutes or until mixture is well blended and hot. Pour over potatoes. Cover and cook on High for 7 to 8 minutes or until heated through. Spoon glaze over potatoes occasionally while cooking. A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional). Also potatoes can be halved instead of sliced. Makes 6 servings
