Sweet Potato Casserole 5 med. potatoes Boil in jackets until tender, peel and mash well. Add: 1 stick butter or oleo 1-1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla Beat until blended well. Fold in: 2 (6 oz.) bottles maraschino cherries, quartered 1/2 c. cooking sherry 1 c. chopped pecans Put in casserole and top with whole cherries for decorations, if desired.
