1 lb ground beef
3 cups diced raw potatoes
1 cup sliced celery
2 T shortening
1 can Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup
? cup water
? cup chili sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Generous dash of pepper (Watkins #01140)
In a skillet, brown beef in shortening with potatoes
and celery; stir to separate meat. Pour off fat. Add
remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 10 minutes,
stirring often. Makes 4 ? cups. Note: I would brown
the meat with no shortening added.
